LiveryDesk allows you to define your own vehicle types so you can dispatch jobs to the appropriate vehicle and control pricing schemes based on vehicle types as well. Once a vehicle type is created, it can be used to restrict a Job entered that requires a specific vehicle so it will be matched only with drivers that are driving that specific vehicle type.
To setup Vehicle Types, go to Settings -> Vehicle Types
On this screen you can edit or disable vehicle types, delete them, or add new vehicle types.
To add a new vehicle type, simply click the "Add Vehicle" button.
This will bring up a window:
Enter a name and choose an icon to use when displaying vehicle type options to the customer. Next set the capacity of the vehicle and set a specific position you want the vehicle to appear in when displaying a list of vehicles. Once this is completed, check the "enable" box to make sure the vehicle is activated and can appear in the add jobs form, the web booking form, the customer app, and in the add employee form.
